PGSD is excited to announce the selection of Amy Stampley as Assisstant Director of Special Education, effective July 1, 2026!

Ms. Stampley is an experienced educational leader with 24 years in Special Education, including over 13 years in leadership roles. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and a Specialist in Education Leadership from Capella University. 

Throughout her career, Amy has demonstrated a deep commitment to supporting students with special needs while building strong, collaborative relationships with parents, teachers, and school administrators. Her leadership is grounded in a belief that student success is maximized when schools and families work together with purpose and trust. She is an active member of the Council for Exceptional Children, reflecting her dedication to continued growth and advocacy in the field.
