Spirit Week Rules and Guidelines
October 1-5
Monday: “Magic Monday” (Character/Superhero Day)
- No masks
- No rips or holes in jeans.
- No tights, short skirts, leggings with short covering them

Tuesday: “Gator Team Tuesday” (Gautier Gator Gear, Blue and Gold Day)
- May wear hats, but must be taken off in class.
- May wear jeans and tennis shoes. No team flip flops.
- Make up, hair, and jewelry must not create a distraction in class. Limit of 2 face tattoos.

Wednesday: “#wIll Wednesday” (Professional Dress, Planned Career Attire)
- You may appropriate professional attire that adheres to GHS guidelines
- No tank tops, leggings, short shorts, skinny jeans

Thursday: “To Infinity and Beyond Thursday” (All things SPACE related)
- Space themed outfits. Shorts may be worn (with leggings underneath for girls.)
- Headbands allowed. If you question it, don’t wear it.
- Hats are permitted, but must be removed in class.

Friday: “Get Your GLOW on Friday” (Neon Day)
- Tutus are allowed with shorts or leggings underneath
- Class shirts and year spelled out are allowed on this day
- Only wearable glow stuff may be worn
- No masks, tights, short skirts, leggings without shorts over them

Pep Rally: Thursday, October 4th at 3:10.
Homecoming Parade and Fall Festival: Thursday, October 4th – 5:00. The parade will begin at Singing River Academy and travel South down Gautier-Vancleave Road. Parade will turn right into Gautier High School. Please come out and show you’re #gautierPROUD!! See the Homecoming Maids, Gautier Schools’ Floats, GHS Band, NJROTC Color Guard and Drill Teams, the GHS Football Team, and the GHS Cheerleaders.
GHS Homecoming Court: Friday, October 5th … Court will be presented at 6:20 p.m. at the GHS stadium and will culminate in the crowning of this year’s Homecoming Queen. PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR GATOR FAMILY!! Show your GATOR SPIRIT and join in the fun of Spirit Week. Make GOOD choices!! Have Fun!!
Spirit Days -No inappropriate dress. No short skirts or shorts. No low cut tops. No bare midriffs.
No spaghetti straps. All shirts must have sleeves. No hats unless stated. No leggings without shorts over them.
No holes, rips, or patches in jeans. No cut, ripped, or torn shirts. No flip flops.
***Any student in violation of the parameters set above will lose dress out privileges for the remainder of the week. Any time you are not participating in a spirit day, you MUST be in school uniform.
***Excessive disruptions outside of school (Jr./Sr. War) may lead to the cancelation of spirit days.
